Our insurance and financial services client is seeking the expertise of a Senior Business Analyst to define scope, performing analysis, documenting requirements, identifying support processes, providing training content and training to partners. (6-12 month renewable contract).

Formulates strategies and guidelines to improve the business environment.
Drive the development of process frameworks, policies, procedures and standards in accordance with best practice and all the required governance and risk processes
Driving process improvement initiatives – including identifying waste and processes efficiencies. This include looking holistically at tactical and strategic solutions
Manage delivery – Driving initiatives to closure (as-is assessment, transition, and implementation). This include focus on the medium and long term view as well.
Strong engagement and communication with Customers and stakeholders (internal and external) at various levels
Produce key documentation (not limited to requirements documents only)
Very strong report capabilities – Strong technical skills including the ability to merge data from various sources, developing formulas to summarize data, translate data into user-friendly reports, and data mine for necessary drill-down metrics.
Experienced in Business and Data Analysis, Data & Process Modelling across People, Process and Technology
Produces and distributes regular management information and reporting
Provide leadership, support and guidance to other staff members
Analyses past, present and future business environment with the lens of the tactical and long term view
Analyses business/IT processes to determine problems, risks and opportunities for improvement
Design solutions that meets the needs of our customers and stakeholders whilst working within the constraints of the business
Works with managers and relevant stakeholders on feasibility studies and determine the way forward
Drive strategies and guidelines to improve the business/IT environment
Implements and supports modules to enhance the business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer and stakeholder satisfaction
Design, configuration and testing in various modules
Analyze the current business processes and scenarios and develop solutions to meet the customer and stakeholder needs
Responsible primarily for successful implementation of solution, providing functional expertise, guidance and presentation
Proactively seek opportunities to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of solutions
Facilitation of JAD sessions
Solicit, Analyse and Document Business Requirements as well as Functional and Non-Functional specifications
Maintain thorough knowledge of the organization and adheres to all organizational standards
Participate in design sessions with architects and senior developers
